How to virtually or physically visit UNESCO Headquarters?

    MORNING: Information programs at 10am arranged upon request, comprising a film screening, a talk by a member of UNESCO staff on UNESCO’s work and a guided tour if desired.. AFTERNOON: Guided tours at 3pm for groups by appointment of the Headquarters buildings ( by Breuer, Nervi and Zehrfuss ) including the General Conference Hall and works of art (Bazaine, Calder, Giacometti, Le Corbusier, Miró and Artigas, Moore, Picasso, Takis, Tapies, Tsereteli ), the Noguchi garden of peace and the Nagasaki angel, the “Khatchkar “ from Armenia, the Meditation Tower by Tadao Ando, the Square of Tolerance by Dani Karavan and the Globe by Erik Reitzel ( approx. 45 minutes ). For individual visitors, there is a guided tour in English on Tuesday afternoons at 3pm and in French on Wednesday at 3pm. Please contact the Service for inscription.

    We would like to point out that due to important renovations, several works of art cannot be seen and the visit has to be adapted to this end.

    The languages used are English and French; other languages may be arranged upon request.

    UNESCO reserves the right to cancel modify the schedule or length of tours if the conference programme or special events render it necessary.
